Hi, how are you? It's almost June already, time does fly huh?
In this post I'm going to show you my favorites of this month of May.
Shall we?
Let's start in base makeup department. I use my April Skin Magic Snow Cushion SPF 50 PA+++ for daytime. It gives me more a natural finish with a little glow. The coverage is more likely medium and you can build it up to full, but I'm not a full coverage girl, so I always use a little amount, and more for my troubled area. This cushion is okay, but I'm not blown away. I do not have anything bad to say about this cushion, but it is not so special either. But I like it for everyday use, since it's so easy to apply.
Next one Nars Steven Klein palette. I love Nars. First time using their laguna bronzer (top right), it was okay. The second time, I started to know why it is so popular. It's not so overly pigmented that you do not have to use a light hand with it. The blushes are pretty. They all shimmers, but the shimmers do not translate onto the skin. My favorite blush are dolce vita (bottom right). The blushes are so pigmented, that you do not have to use a lot of it. Sometimes I mixed 2 colors to create my own color. I do not really use the contour and the highlight in this palette. The contour is to red for my skin tone, and the highlight doesn't really do anything. I love the big mirror though.
MAC Soft and Gentle. My love at the first try. This highlight is so pretty. I get asked what highlight I use and sometimes my friend compliment my face whenever I use this. This highlight is so pretty (yup I said it twice). And I have nothing bad to say about this baby. All I can say, if you do not have this highlight, and you have the budget, go get this one.
L'oreal Brow Artist Genius Kit in Light to Medium. I do not use this for my eyebrow. I actually use this for nose contouring. I love the powder, it's perfect for contouring. It's not so pigmented, so I can use this easily for contour my nose without make it too obvious. Perfect for daytime contouring.
MAC palette in Warm Neutral. I love my neutrals. This is the only eye palette I use in the entire month of May, and all I do is sweep off a color all over my lids and done. Sometimes if I want more definition I use darker color like Dance In The Dark (top right-matte dark neutral brown), or Dark Brew (the second from top right-shimmer warm brown red). For all over the lid, I love Amber Lights (second middle right), Honey Lust (right in the middle), Divine Decadence (second bottom right) or Ginger Snap (top middle). Overall, I love this palette for everyday look.
NYX Eyebrow Gel in Chocolate. Love this product. Love the wand, it sets and tint my brows and make my eyebrow last longer. And it's affordable.
YSL Tint in Oil No. 8 Pink About Me. I use this almost everyday, if I do not want to use my lipstick. This baby girl moisturize and looks so lovely on my lips. Even though the price tag is not so lovely on my wallet (lol). I love the smell, and it's so easy to re-apply. Sorry for my chipped nails.
MAC Lipstick in Mehr. Lily Pebbles made me buy this, and I have no regrets. It look so lovely on my skin tone. It's matte so it's more long lasting and it's easy to re-apply. Freakin love this shade.
MAC Fix+ is my all time favorite and will always have a place in my heart. I have nothing more to say about this product. This product is bomb!
Last but not least, The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil. This product saves my life. Whenever I had a breakout, this bad boy will zip it. This is my second bottle, and this is the only product I use to fight my breakouts.
